Hosiptal Visit

Okay so I have not updated anything in awhile so I thought that I will do it now.
Thursday morning when I got up with Jeremy I had some pains in my stomach area. I have had pains in my abdominal before but this was not the same it was higher up and on my right side. Well, since it is hard to get into a Dr here on post we decided to go to the ER. Well after sitting in the waiting room (which by the way had no one there but one family) for an hour (oh, it was 0530 in the morning) we finally got into the back. Mine, I say they put me in this room that I guess is for pregnancies or female issue because the bed had no rails and it either laid flat or straight up. Anyways the DR came in shortly and did some pushing around on my stomach and said he thinks it is my Gallbladder and was going to see how bad it was. So he need blood and wanted to give me something for pain into an IV. So anyways this SPC and civilian nurse comes in to get an iv started and get blood. I nicely hand them my hands and say "Here good luck" The last time I went to the ER it took 3 people, I got poke 6 times until they was able to do it. They then went on and on about how they were the best and they were going to be able to do it no problem. So the SPC starts on my left wrist.....Man that hurt more then every. I was like there is no way you are putting an iv in my wrist. Sure enough he was not able to do so. So the nurse was able to get an iv started in on the top of my right hand. Yes, if you have to have an IV there it hurts. The next thing I knew she was flushing out my lines, or I thought. I was talking to the SPC and Jeremy and then man I just felt so wreak. I was like what did you just do, she was like I gave you some meds for your pain. The next thing I knew I was out. I remember the DR came in and I just keep looking at him. Jeremy later told me that he was telling me that he believes it was my gallbladder and that he was just waiting for the blood test to come back to see if I need an ultrasound to see about emergency surgery. Then he came back and said that everything came back good so he thinks I should make an appointment with my PCM and sent me home with 2 meds. Oh, I slept that whole day. Well, I have been feeling better, just after some times when I eat I start hurting again. So anyways I got an DR appointment Thursday so we will see from there.

it is probably your gallbladder if after you eat sometimes it hurts...i had mine out dec 07 a week or so after adam proposed...i was hurting so bad in my side almost like someone was stabbing me over and over again...they did an ultrasound and supposedly found nothing, but i went to a specialist and he said it was the beginnings of gallbladder disease and that it had to come out...its not so bad (the surgery that is) they knock you completely out and you go home the same day...my surgery was at 2 pm or so and i left right before midnight that night...they make you get up and pee before you leave though so that they can make sure they didn't mess anything up...then you are very sore the next few days...it is hard to go from laying in bed to sitting up...make sure jeremy is there to help you get out of bed...if you sit on the couch or anything, put a pillow under you (it's easier to get off higher surfaces)...have a pillow to hold against your stomach when you have to walk, cough, sneeze, laugh etc...get up and walk around as much as you can...it helps with the healing process...take the pain meds every four hours even if you dont hurt because it takes so long to kick in sometimes that when you are hurting you regret not taking it...

I'm not saying you do have it or anything and will have to have surgery, but if you do, you'll be fine...tell them you have to come to texas for the surgery...then your dad and marie can help you recover and you can stay longer and see parker!

Yeah definitely sounds like it may be your gall bladder but blood tests I would think would have come up with something? Have you gone to the doc yet?
