Driving

So a couple months ago between Jeremy's trip to the hospital I went to take the Driver's Test here in Germany to see if I could pass it on the first time and Guess what...I DID! So now I have had my German license for a month and half but was still neveous about actually having to drive in German. I mean I learn what the signs means but taking the meanings in effect is another story. Well, my neighbor has a car and he has his license but she does not yet so he is always driving us around when he is off work. So a couple of weeks ago he let me take the wheel so I would learn how to drive. It was not that bad. So the next day I took me and his wife to the library and PX so yeah I am getting use to driving in Germany slowly.

Well, then Friday the car we are thinking about buying arrived in Germany so I needed to take it for a test drive. I was thinking a test drive just around the block and stay on post. Well the car dealer was like take it for a drive get on the autobahn and down town I was like no way. So I convince my neighbors cause he somewhat knows his way around and is used to driving in Germany. So he help me get there we drove off post and down the road and jumped on the Autobahn that goes around Schweinfurt. Then took the 2nd extra to get back into Schweinfurt which bought me into it on the other size of town where I have never been. Now I was really scared lost in a new car in town. But guess what?! I did it and did not cry!! I was really proud of myself! So I did it! Not so bad! Soon I will be driving all over the place.
