So after reading my sister-in-law's bio and saw that she was wanting streak fingers made me crave some also. I loved my dad's streak finger and Kim is lucky cause Adam knows how to cook them too, but for me they never come out exactly like his. Anyways I made some for dinner tonight, they actually turned out okay. I even went and bought a deep fryer just like dad's and Adam's so I could make them just the same, but it never takes like your parents.
Anyways they were good but we had a lot left over so we gave some to Zowie, our dog. Well, why we were busy cleaning the kitchen we looked up and she must have liked them so much that she was now jumping on the the table and stealing them off. So here is a video of her stealing them it was so cute.

Fort Morris and Sunbury Cemetery
Okay, so I am not that good at keep this thing up to date but I will try a little harder.
Well, we did some more site seeing a couple of weeks ago and just went down the road to this state park and historic place. It was Fort Morris and what is left of the town of Sunbury (which is just a cemetery). It is nice to have some historical places near by and things to do that is cheap and fun. It was not much to do just walk around and look at the place but hey it was fun.
So here is a little history if you are wondering about it.
When the Continental Congress convened in 1776, the delegates recognized the importance of a fort to protect their growing seaport from the British. Soon afterwards, a low bluff on the Medway River at Sunbury was fortified and garrisoned by 200 patriots. When the British demanded the fort’s surrender on November 25, 1778, the defiant Col. John McIntosh replied, “Come and take it!” The British refused and withdrew back to Florida. Forty-five days later, they returned with a superior force, and on January 9, 1779, Fort Morris fell after a short but heavy bombardment. Under the name of Fort Defiance, this bulwark was once again used against the British during the War of 1812. Today, visitors can stand within the earthwork remains and view scenic Saint Catherines Sound

Jekyll Island, GA
So Monday after Jeremy got off early we decided to do a little more sight seeing with a friend here. So we took off to see the coast the Atlantic coast. So we heard a good beach was Jekyll Island which was south of us. It was nice but not has pretty has I have expected. It looked about like Galveston. They say because of all the plants in Savannah and there is also a lot of tar in the Atlantic coast. They say to go the 3 hours to Jacksonville, FL to see the blue water, which I might do one day.
Anyways it was too cold to be in the water anyways so we just decided to walk the beach which we found out was totally worth it. If you can not tell but in the last picture are sand dollars that are still wet and alive. We first found a half of one and I was amazed because I have never found anything cool at the beach before. Then we found 4 more whole sand dollars, so we threw the half one back. So that was really cool to find. It made the trip worth it. I just can't wait till this summer to go to the beach.

Craft Project
Well it has been awhile since I have been able to blog so hopefully I will try harder to keep it up to date.
Anyways I got a cute craft ideal from my sister-in-law's bridal shower. Her sister made letters like this to say "Family". I took the ideal from her but decided to use our last name. It actually turn out cute. You can not tell from the picture but the A is striped thinly and the E has little polka dots. Anyways this project only cost $2.99 a letter and I got the paper that was on sale at Micheal's for $0.59. So all together it was about $15 dollars and it looks cute and was easy.
