Just Updating!

Okay, sorry it has been awhile since I have updated on here but I just been so busy. I gotten a couple of questions about if I every made it back to the Dr. and yes I did but she said it was no my gallbadder so we will see. I just love Doctors, espically at post hosiptal. I guess you get your money's worth, and it is free so you cant complain.
Well, Jeremy found out that there is no leave going to be availiable in June, like we thought so, so he might not be able to go home till December. I still want to go home before then so we will see. It stinks that they won't give them time before then. I guess we will see. I know they get 2 weeks before they deployed so if everything is has it seens now then that will be in December also. So I guess we will see.
So I dont have anything exciting to talk about. I guess my life is boring...LOL

Tybee Island, GA

Okay so this weekend we deceide that we wanted to go to Tybee Island and enjoy this 80 degree weather we are having here in Coastal Georgia. I have yet been able to go there and Jeremy has been there with a few of his friends. So I deceide lets go. It only about 1 hour or so away. It is a nice little island. You can basically walk around the island because it is not "that" big. There are even famous people that have a house here. I dont know 2 of them but one is Sandra Bullock and one person we were talking to, to get the scooters and told us that Bay street is where Sandra Bullock house is, so we rode our mopeds all the way down bay street so, I am sure we passed her house. It was a fun trip, the water was too cold and the wind blowing in the evening made it cold but other then that it was perfect. I am even sunburn on my face and neck and feet. So here are some pictures . This is a picture of the island. We rented the Mopeds at the Tree and rode them down the back way to the Lighthouse and then followed the Red Bike path to the beach. It looks far but only took about 45 minutes. We stopped at the lighthouse to go to the beach there also.

This is Jeremy on his Moped!

This is Me on mine. Yes, it was Pink! I look scared because I was, but they gave me a little lesson in the parking lot and then took me about 3 times around the block.

Jeremy at the pretty beach!

The Tybee Island Lighthouse

Us on the beach!

The starfish that we found. These 3 was near by so I took a picture of all 3. I wish I could have took one home, but the rule is you cant take anything unless it is already dead. The ones we found was up on the beach burrying into the sand to stay wet, so we would pick them up and put them back on the edge of the waves again.

There was this guy fishing and we could tell he caught something and Jeremy wanted to see what it was, this is what it was, a stingray. It stilled had it little thing that stings you on it. So he took the hook out and trew it back in. That makes me scared to get into the water!

The lighthouse from the edge of the beach. Look how big the beach is. Nothing like Galveston. It is so wide.

The Tybee Island Lighthouse!

Us at dinner. We ate at this resturant that was in a hotel and you sit and over look the beach. it was so beautiful.

Hosiptal Visit

Okay so I have not updated anything in awhile so I thought that I will do it now.
Thursday morning when I got up with Jeremy I had some pains in my stomach area. I have had pains in my abdominal before but this was not the same it was higher up and on my right side. Well, since it is hard to get into a Dr here on post we decided to go to the ER. Well after sitting in the waiting room (which by the way had no one there but one family) for an hour (oh, it was 0530 in the morning) we finally got into the back. Mine, I say they put me in this room that I guess is for pregnancies or female issue because the bed had no rails and it either laid flat or straight up. Anyways the DR came in shortly and did some pushing around on my stomach and said he thinks it is my Gallbladder and was going to see how bad it was. So he need blood and wanted to give me something for pain into an IV. So anyways this SPC and civilian nurse comes in to get an iv started and get blood. I nicely hand them my hands and say "Here good luck" The last time I went to the ER it took 3 people, I got poke 6 times until they was able to do it. They then went on and on about how they were the best and they were going to be able to do it no problem. So the SPC starts on my left wrist.....Man that hurt more then every. I was like there is no way you are putting an iv in my wrist. Sure enough he was not able to do so. So the nurse was able to get an iv started in on the top of my right hand. Yes, if you have to have an IV there it hurts. The next thing I knew she was flushing out my lines, or I thought. I was talking to the SPC and Jeremy and then man I just felt so wreak. I was like what did you just do, she was like I gave you some meds for your pain. The next thing I knew I was out. I remember the DR came in and I just keep looking at him. Jeremy later told me that he was telling me that he believes it was my gallbladder and that he was just waiting for the blood test to come back to see if I need an ultrasound to see about emergency surgery. Then he came back and said that everything came back good so he thinks I should make an appointment with my PCM and sent me home with 2 meds. Oh, I slept that whole day. Well, I have been feeling better, just after some times when I eat I start hurting again. So anyways I got an DR appointment Thursday so we will see from there.

I can't Believe this show!

Okay, why do I find myself still watching the show even though I want to throw the remote at the TV. I guess that is how telvision works. LOL!
Anyways, has anyone else watch this kinda new show on TLC called Toodlers & Tiaras?? Okay so I did tonight with nothing else being on TV and I think it would be cute seeing little girls dress up. I been to pageants, I from Buna where there is abunch of them. I don't have anything agaist pageants, like the ones back at home. Okay your child wants to do a pageant (or you want them too) fine, go get a cute little dress and shoes and panty hose and brush their hair and put them on the stage. Simply as that. Shot, I have even seen pageants where it was casusal dress (which means you just get a Sunday style dress). SIMPLY!
No, this show they have the girls has young as 2 having to wear a swimsuit and shake their bottoms on a stage. They also show girls as young as 6 having to shave, do fake tanning, getting fake teeth (cause you know it is normally at age 6 to lose your baby teeth), get hair pieces, and think they are so perfect.
***Well, tonight one mother said that she had to do the fake tan on her daughter to help cover up her imperfects. Oh my gosh, I am sorry your daughter, age 7, was beautiful, who cares if she is a little white. I would never say that to a child.
***Second complain: The mothers that also put on a swimsuit and evening grown to be judge. At age 47 you dont need to be signing up for pageants. I am sorry. I am only 28 and I know I dont even want to think about having to go find some formal dress and doing all that jazz. I know being a Amry Wife it is going to come when I am going to have to attend a Military Ball, and trust me I am not looking forward to getting myself in a ball grown.

***Okay, third complain: The 2 year old little girl that they follow won 1st Runner up. That is kinda like 2nd place. You did not get crown but the little girl got a thorphy as big as her and she was happy. Oh no, the dad was ticked off. He was so mad and went off. The little girl was happy you would have not notice, but her dad keep telling her that she made too many mistakes and how bad she did. Why in the world would you tell that to a child????? I dont understand these people!
***Okay my 4th complain: If you want twirling to be your talent, then twirl the baton dont just hold it in the middles and wave it around. That is not twirling. Sorry I guess too many years doing it and I hate people that think it is easy just throwing it around. It is not there is a certain way you have to do it and a form to do it right.

Okay well, I am going to get off and shut up. I just dont think this is what we should be exposing our children too. They should be able to feel beautiful no matter how they look. Not everyone can look fake like actoress and models. Anyways I am shutting up. Sorry!

Happy Valentines Day

Okay so I have never been a big Valentines Day person. I know we been married for 6 years and we just have done small stuff. Well, since last year we did nothing due to being in the middle of moving from Utah to Georgia. So this year knowing that from the looks of things he will not be here next year due to deploying in January. (that is the rumor). So who know when we would have another Valentines Day. So we decide to do something. It was a great day.

Okay, I woke up early to the smell of something was burning. I yell at Jeremy in the kitchen "please don't burn the house down" and he yelled back "it is bacon". For some reason when you cook bacon it always smelled bad. Anyways, I later work up to this: a breakfast in bed, with Heart shape pancakes, bacon, and strawberries. Here is the picture from how he bought it to me. Sorry about the fan in the background.

Okay so also that morning he gave me an envelope with a gift card to the spa here on post. I was like cool. He then tells me that I have an appointment today at 3:30 for a manicure and pedicure. I was in shocked. He had it all plan. Also during the day he ran to the store to pick something up and this is what he got me another rose and balloons.

Okay so I leave to go to the Spa which he plan for me to have a reason to get out of the house.
So it was so nice. I then went to a friend's house because I am watching her dogs, to let them out. Well, then I got home to find that my husband had completely decorated our house and made a complete 4 course meal. I was shocked and wish I would have took a picture. I am so mad that I didn't. Just Picture this: a white table cloth, black place mats and napkins. He then had 2 red heart shape candles in the middle. Then also two little heart tins filled with Hersey Kisses also. Also on the table was a little bear holding a heart. He also bought white square dishes that was so cool. He also had rose petals spread all over the floor from the front door to the table. Even had some outside the front door. Anyways, We had a good meal. We had a salad, then Spaghetti with his homemade sauce and meatballs. (our first vday together he made that and has never made it again). He also had crescent rolls to go with it. Then he made for dessert was White Chocolate Mousse with raspberries and blackberries in these cute little cups. He also made me Homemade chocolate cover strawberries. It was all good.

Okay so then we did presents. I got him some new church pants, shirt and tie and then some chocolates. But his main present was a nice wedding band ring. He broke the one he had a year or so ago so he needed a new one. I could not get a good picture of it and could not find it online either. But it is white gold with one little diamond on it. He got me was a watch with little hearts, some diamond earrings and then a beautiful necklace. I am so in love with the necklace.

Sorry the picture is not great. The first picture is the necklace a picture offline and the second one is everything. Not the greatest picture.

So anyways, after gifts and dinner we decide to go to the movies. Since Hinesville don't have the greatest theater and don't let you have that many choices we went and saw "He Just Not That Into You".

Not the greatest movie but it was good. Jeremy thought it was WAY boring. It was so true about a girls are with guys, but the story line itself was confusing. You had way too many characters (yes a lot of good actors and actress) but with a lot of different story lines going on. Over all it was good.
So, my day was great and if he is gone next year I will have this memory to keep me happy. LOL!
